165 HP STRAIGHT 6.WHEN IM GOING FULL THROTTLE IT SEEMS TO SMELL LIKE EXHAUST COMING FROM THE VALVE COVER BREATHER CAP.NOT ALOT BUT ENOUGH.SHOULD SOME COME OUT.CHECKED ALL PLUGS AND THEY LOOK GREAT ALL OF THEM.CHECKED COMPRESSION.5 CYLINDERS ABOUT 125 - 1 CYLINDER 100 IT IS THE LAST CYLINDER THE SIXTH ONE.VALVE JOB OR DONT WORRY.1971 SEARAY SRV220. WHAT DO I DO.BEAT IT OR FIX IT. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA THANK YOU

"That's piston/ring blowby and every engine makes a certain amount. Does not necessarily mean your engine needs any work. The need for work would be judged by compression test/leakdown test, oil consumption, oil pressure, etc.
Most newer engines have a breather tube from the valve cover to the spark arrestor so that these vapors are breathed into the engine and combusted. Can you retrofit such a tube to yours?
