"Guys,
I am trying to get her run right for the summer.
I have found one of the Carter fuel pumps is not pulling her weight.
Where can I find a rebuild kit?"

The original pumps are years out of production.
There doesn't seem to be any next best model to replace it.
But Robert at chris-craft-parts will be supplying the rebuild kits.
I will post the results when it's done.

What was your symptom I have 1 350Q that will not run above 3400 to 3600 RPM the other tops at 4200 as it should. I am wondering if it is starving for fuel? Considering the fuel pump too?

"the symptoms I started with, like you engines don't follow.
The chase and the fix.
The bad gas, get it out.
Fuel filters full of cra_. Sub in a large volume filter before engine filters.check and replace in-line filters as required.
Pull the carbs and have them remanufactured.
The total of the problems and the fixes.
every fix helped to some degree. I replaced the plugs several times for fouling and the plug wires after I got tired of replacing the plugs.
I will have the carbs back in a few days, and hope to be able to balance the drives under load.

will post again when I have the carbs installed"

You can buy a new Carter AV489

You can buy a new Carter AV4891 (Marine)pump and take the old pump arm off your old pump. Then replace the arm on the new pump with the old one. This way you have a new pump and it takes a lot less time and effort to do. I have one on my 350 Catalina with 350Qs and it works fine. You can get the pump at DirtTracker.com or Summitracing.com. Summit's is a little cheaper
