"Well I finally got this engin

"Well I finally got this engine installed in my Bayliner Explorer 2670 and it runs perfect.
Now I was wondering how much to wind it up to.
This is my first inboard boat.
The AQ 151 came from a 50' foot houseboat
I cruised it at 2,200 RPMs which is slow in my boat.
I brought it up to 4,000 for about 10 seconds
What is the safe range to run this engine?"

"Yes the swap went smooth because I didn't do the work ha,ha. I had the local Marina do it at a cost of 7 shop hours. I have not had the engine at top speed yet 4,000 RPM I hit 10 Mph which was faster than other engine but I didn't have tach working before. I would guess I will gain 4-5 MPH faster.
But still really slow. Good thing I really like the way the cabin design is in this boat."
