I have a 1972 100hp johnson mo
I have a 1972 100hp johnson model 100esL72R.
The solenoid would click and the starter would engage the fly wheel but would only slightly turn it.
Put a meter across a brand new battery when turning the key it draws the battery down.
Starter was original. Took it to a shop and was told it was bad. Bought a brand new starter and installed it. It started the first four times but now is doing the same thing. What next?
