Strange Exhaust Vapors

"New 6.2 MAG MPI with Hardin Side exhausts, Alpha II.
Last weekend was the first outing on the lake with the new 6.2, and she ran very well for the most part. Yes, it's fairly loud with the side exhausts, but by no means the loudest on the lake!!
One strange thing I noticed is that when she has been run a while and stopped 10-20 minutes, when she starts up there is what appears to be steam vapor coming out the starboard exhaust only. The port side emits only normal exhaust and cooling water spray as usual. This is not a problem after a cold start, only after it is warmed up. There is a pungent odor when these vapors blow back over the boat. It still runs great and shows no change in behavior at all. Oil pressure and temp steady as a rock.
I am wondering if perhaps during shutdown it leaks a little cooling water down into the stbd manifold from the manifold to riser joint, and this then gets vaporized when I restart?
Anybody any ideas?
Thanks,
Rod"
