I would to know how much tis

I would to know how much tis motor is worth and are any of the parts interchangable with the 70s inline 6s I was told this is a rare motor.
It is a 1962 inline 6 85 hp any info is great.


P.S. whay is the fuel mix?

Except for the drain plugs, there isn't much in common with the 1970s inlines. The later motors had gone through much evolution by that point.

Your motor isn't all that common, but it's not really uncommon either. It's basically worth whatever someone will pay for it. Joe Schmo off the street isn't going to want a 40-year old motor for his boat unless it holds some special significance (Matches his boat? Grand-dad/Uncle/etc. had one? Wanted one as a kid? etc.) It's simply not a practical motor for most boaters, particularly those with minimal mechanical skills. As such, the demand is quite low and there's plenty to go around for those who do want them.
Fuel mix is 50:1, but some might richen it up a hair (it is over 40 years old!!) to 40:1.
