I am blowing the fuse at the s

I am blowing the fuse at the solenoid when I push the choke in at the key. any suggestions?
I have replaced the ignition switch. could the choke sticking cause the fuse to blow?

"Remove the wire from the chok

"Remove the wire from the choke solenoid temporarily, turn the key to the ON position then push the key in.

If the fuse still blows, there's a short in that wire somewhere. If the fuse does not blow, then I would asssume the choke solenoid is shorted."
