I just purchased a glasstream

I just purchased a glasstream with a 1986 3.0 Omc the previous owner drained all the water out of the block and I have no Idea how to fill it.... do you fill it from the thermastat housing or does it automaticly pump it through the direct drive?

when u start it up it will fill
the reason u drain it so when it gets cold outside it will not crack
