"Howdy all. Hoping someone can come up with an explaination for the burn on this prop. Normal cavitation burn is on the front side about 1/3down the blade. This is the 1st I have seen on the back side near the tip. The motor is a 40VETOL 2006. No cavitation noted whilst driving. Revs to aprox 5300 WOT. Any suggestions??
cheers

"Well, have replaced the prop with a slightly different pitch. Since found out the boat is fairly heavily loaded and WOT revs when loaded are below spec. Will wait and see if this helps."
