"I'm taking a look at the head gasket I received for my 1970 aq 130,(from gasket set 182980)and there are round holes in the gasket that fit over the oddly shaped water passages. The holes in the gasket will allow water flow, but will partially block the passages. Is this the right gasket?"
 
"O, and one more dumbass quest

"O, and one more dumbass question....I replaced the freeze plugs with cup style plugs. However, I'm not sure if they're in backwards. They were installed with the concave part of the cup facing into the block. Is this correct? It took a hell of a lot of pounding to get them in, it seems that they must be watertight. What do you think?"
