I have ford lehman super 90 marinised diesel. At recent oil change drained lots of water and brown sludge from sump. Oh no! Did an oil and filter change then ran engine for 5 mins and then oil on dipstik was milky/grey. Any suggestions for fault diagnosos? I am thinking it could be water coming back from exhaust or leak in the oil cooler or crack in water jacket? The fresh water system is not losing any volume so i think this system is in tact. Any suggestions where to from here?

"If you are not losing any fresh water, it sounds like the engine oil cooler needs to be replaced and change oil again.

"Hi Jason,
there is an Valve (maybe on starboard) that aerate the injection water tube and prevent that water runs backwards in the flue-gas-system. (direct on the cylinder) Oblique how much water runs on the cylinder you may have start problems and it seems that the starter is defect also.
best regards
