Try to get a small screwdriver

Try to get a small screwdriver tip in between the plug and the housing. Pry out while turning the plug. I've had this happen before. It might take a helper with two small drivers. Good Luck

Not trying to be a smarta$$ but exactly which screw is it? Have you removed this one before? Is it the one at the very bottom of the drive? Normally you remove the top dip stick screw to check the level. There are also screws on the side that used to have a Cobra badge cover them up and people have mistakenly removed those before which causes the thin flat nut to fall down inside and usually means removing the drive to put it back together.
