Is it just the ecu? I have found what appears to be a (air) flow restrictor on the inlet side of the throttle body. This restrictor is fitted into the rubber duct linking the air filter box to the throttle body.

"Yesterday I spoke to two different Yamaha dealers and got two separate responses to a request for an F100 ecu for fitment to an F80.
One was happy to provide details on cost and supply of an ecu.
The other said that the differences between the two engines extended to throttle bodies, inlet manifold(s) and even suggested that the cam shaft profiles are different.
This second opinion all seems a bit over the top, especially when it is so easy these days to tune/detune an engine electronically, with little or no change to mechanicals."
