"Hey all,
New to the board and I/O boats. Recently bought a 1978 Bayliner with 280 VP and newer Volvo 4 cyl.

The zincs look like they could use some replacement maybe not now but soon. As I was browsing EBAY looking for stuff I came across this add for Zincs but instead they're made from aluminum.

"I own an aluminum boat, and I know what anodes to use:

1. Aluminum (if such things exist) would work ONLY on a steel hull.

2. Zinc anodes work on the rest, with magnesium (along with zinc anodes) for an aluminum boat in fresh water.
