"Looking for a King Cobra Sterndrive model 986043 any help will be appreciated. Or info on converting to merc or volvo drive. The boat is a 22' Mirage with a 454 and a cracked lower housing on the sterndrive. Just purchased this boat as a project any and all info is appreciated!! Here is a close pic of gimbal what is broken in here and what do I need to replace it?? Thanks Mike

Does the rest of your drive look OK? If it is just the gimbal you are having problems with I know where there is another one for sale, I want the trim cylinders off of it,maybe we could slpit it and you could have the rest? Thanks. Tom"
 
The lower unit also hit a rock

The lower unit also hit a rock I was told I have not seen the boat yet. But yes if it is a part I will need I would split the cost. I need to decide if I should fix the one I have or convert to merc or volvo???
