HAVE 70 FORCE MOTOR NEED PROP

HAVE 70 FORCE MOTOR NEED PROPELLER. DON'T KNOW YEAR. NUMBER ON CLAMP IS WI 1400-819128 AND F2EDIC PLEASE HELP WITH YEAR

SUPERSAL...If it has through hub exhaust the motor would probably take a standard merc propellor same as would fit a merc 50 or 60hp. the merc part no. eg. 48-73136a40 is a 13p 48-73138a40 is a 14p and so on. Make sure you know your pitch before purcasing the new prop OK...DJ

pull prop off and number on it is= 21 over 10.88x11P does the 11P mean 11 pitch and can i use a difference pitch

Supersal...Every boat and mot

Supersal...Every boat and motor combination is different. You may be able to change the pitch but your moter is made to rev out at a specific maximum rpm which is probably 5500 rpm. If you don't have a tach its kind of hard to guess. Just remember if you go up in pitch you will loose hole shot and max. rpm although you may gane more speed. Going down in pitch will increase you hole shot but raise your max. rpm. You don't want to over rev your motor to much or it WILL cause damage...OK DJ
