" My Father can't pull start his 25hp Evinrude anymore, and would like to add electric start.

Found used starter and bracket for $150. Safety switch is additional $50.

Is there a "Kit" available from Evinrude?

Is $200 the right price?

"TJ... That engine is a 1984 25hp Evinrude. If the engines flywheel already has a ring gear (teeth on flywheel edge), OMC has a electric start kit which is number 173964.

This kit consists of everything you would need except the flywheel. I don't have the exact cost with me but I would estimate that it would be approximately $300.00.
