78 evinrude with 86 150 electronics

" hi i have a 78 200 rude, it only sparked on 2 cyls so i put every thing from a 86 150 on it, now it won't turn over except for chug chug unless i pull off the plug wires, what do you think? "
 
i cant see where just pulling

i cant see where just pulling the wires off the end of the plug would increase cranking speed unless you have it cross wired somehow. you might check all connections to see that there clean and tight grounds included. make sure that your battery is FULLY charged as the old omc's like a strong battery.
