" Recently I replaced a points and condenser distributor with a prestolite electronic one,the shift cut out switch does not work with the electronic distributor,anyone know what can be done to make this switch work.Thanks Wayne "

you will need a different shift cut out module-contact a reputable ignition company.
 
I just finished this same con

I just finished this same conversion on my OMC with shift box. Instructions stated that you need to install diodes and resistors inline to the shif box wiring so it will work properly. All the parts needed were bought at Raido Shack. If you need a drawing I have one. Walt
