How do you drop the lower unit on a 1993 Force 150

" I am trying to drop the lowe

" I am trying to drop the lower unit to repair or replace the water pump. So far I've removed the 6 bolts (3 on each side)under the cavitation plate, but the lower unit still doesn't budge. What do I need to do?

There is a bolt under the tri

There is a bolt under the trim tab scribe a mark on the tab before removing it so it can be replaced in the same location.Next is to disconnect the shift linkage
 
If you have access to a 1/2 i

If you have access to a 1/2 in swivel socket and an extension you can remove the bolt without removing the Exhaust Snout.
