I just aquired an old Evinrud

I just aquired an old Evinrude which appears to be all aluminum with a large tank on the rear. Exposed flywheel. The serial # 6039-10154. I would like find the year and HP? Is is a Speeditwin.

Your model number is 6039 and that is a 22.5HP from 1939-1950... maybe someone else can narrow the date of manufacture down further...
