I have to replace the lower u

I have to replace the lower unit gear lube each time I use the motor so I'm replacing all the lower unit seals. I started taking this apart starting w/ the plastic cap and cotter pin. I got down the shaft to a pac-man looking C-clip. Now it looks like I can't go any farther. What's next on taking this apart to replace all the seals in the lower unit?

If you are refering to the P/S bearing carrier it must be pulled out of the housing with a puller.
