" DUE TO LOCATION OF GEN IN EN
" DUE TO LOCATION OF GEN IN ENGINE ROOM AGAINST THE STARBOARD WALL IT APPEARS IMPOSSIBLE TO ACCESS/CHANGE THE SPARK PLUGS WITHOUT REMOVAL OF THE GEN-SET. HAS ANYONE FACED THIS SITUATION AND IF SO, WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO "FREE-UP" THE GEN TO MOVE IT ENOUGH TO GET TO THE PLUGS?
THE GEN HAS 1000 HOURS--500 HOURS SINCE TOTAL "OVERHAUL" BY PREVIOUS OWNER. IT RUNS GREAT-SMOOTH,QUIET,WITH NO EXHAUST SMOKE BUT IT HAS DEVELOPED A DISTINCT GASOLINE SMELL IN THE EXHAUST. I'M NOT SURE NEW PLUGS IS THE ANSWER BUT IT'S A START.
