" I have a 1976 Chrysler 75HP outboard. For the past two years I've owned it, it's ran great. But recently it's been draining batteries. With a fully charged battery, when I turn the key it will turn over fast for a few seconds, then it will turn over very slow. Eventually it will kill the battery (usually before it will start up). I'm thinking the starter is going bad, but I have no way to tell for sure. I also don't think it's charging the battery while running anymore, as I only get about 12.3 volts while running. With it off, the battery has 12.5 volts. Any suggestions?
