GM inline 6 marine conversions

Does anyone make a marine coversion for the new breed of in-line 6 cylinder motors? I am re-powering and twin v-6's or v-8's just will not fit in the engine compartment. Any thoughts for repowering a 24'Shepherd with twin Chrysler Aces? (Just not enough power.)

"Weight is the enemy of speed in a boat--the weight of those old monsters is probably equal to a modern V-8. I'd think a pair of common, 3.0 four cylinder motors (Mercruiser and others) of 140 hp. each would work very well in your application.
