1998 yamaha 200 Vmax Shuts down after acceleration

"Got a question about my 1998

"Got a question about my 1998 200 V-MAX.The motor worked great going to our fishin hole,but on the way back when i accelerated i could go for about 2 or 3 minutes and then it would kinda shake like it was starved for fuel and shut down.I checked the bulb on the fuel line and it was soft ,so i pumped it up aging and went for another 2-3 min and the same thing.The bulb would not stay hard.The motor idles fine and normal, but like i said before it will shut down after 2-3 min.Any ideas on some trouble shooting steps i could do before taking it to the mechanic.Any help would be awsome.Nate"

u will need a fuel pressure gu

u will need a fuel pressure guage
could be air leak or fuel pump

"Ok, would i hook the pressure guage up to the engine or what?Im pretty green when it comes to outboards.Ill replace my fuel lines and check hose connections.As far as a fuel guage ,what kinda pressure should it read.Any ideas where i could get one?Thanks for the help just-in-time."
