"Trim goes down but not up. Al

"Trim goes down but not up. All I get the solenoid clicking. I'm thinking the contacts are are dirty. Can the contacts be cleaned or does it have to be replaced. Started to take the electrical cover off but decided to gets some guidance first.

u need a new one
u might be a

u need a new one
u might be able to aplly 12v to it to clear it up for a little time before u get the new one
