I have a 2004 Johnson that gives a engine warning alarm for approximately 20 seconds after startup. The engine light also stays on until key is turned off. I have replaced fuel filter and checked for kinks in lines etc. I was told by someone to upgrade the oil and that would help cure the problem. Is a 40 dollar gallon of oil really neccesary?
