"I have a yamaha FT 25 year K (what ever that is) and when first started up in the morning whilst it is still cold a high frequency vibration comes out of the the top of the crank case, it sounds like a loose ball race bearing vibrating.
i have been told by mr yamaha dealer down the road that this engine uses only white metal bearing shells and has no ball or needle bearings in it saying that he has no idea what could be causing the noise. i would be very gratfull if anyone could help me with this problem."
