"My motor does not run starter

"My motor does not run starter works carby's fine and fuels running thru system. Plugs are wet spark doesn't seem very strong. What are the correct Plugs and the correct fuel mix is it 50-1?, Please Advise.

"Mixture is 50/1. Plugs should be Champion QL77JC4 plugs, gapped at .040.

Look at the stator under the flywheel (beginning of ignition and charging system). If it's cracked and/or melting a sticky substance down on the timer base and powerhead, replace that stator."
