I recently purchased a 72 win

I recently purchased a 72 winner . this is a freash water cooled engine . There is only water flow comming from one side of the engine . The Riser or manifold does not appear to be clogged. Is there anything else it can be ?
 
I am Very new to this type of

I am Very new to this type of system . I Am Not sure if there is two impellers or even where the hose would go . I will check both suggestions next time i get up to the boat . Thanks Ill keep you posted

"Mystery: why did my exhaust manifolds crack??
I have a Chrysler LM340 that was running great on land, but when I put her in the water and ran her around a bit, I ended up with hairline cracks in the manifolds in approx same spot on both. The engine was not overheating- ran at about 170 degrees at the hottest.
Any ideas what could have caused this?
Would it be a bad idea to run it like this?
