My 85 hp force starts and run

My 85 hp force starts and runs great up to about 3/4 throttle. Over that it starts surging and losing power. I have checked/cleaned the fuel filters and it's new fuel. Any ideas?????
 
Dave...Check your timing &#40

Dave...Check your timing (max spark advance) and it also may be time to remove clean and rebuild your carbs.
