Stupid question about 85 90 hp mariner

" i have a 19ft winner with a 90 hp mariner . it has the tachometer that originally came with the motor . since i cant go out and look now and i REALLY wanna know , did that tachometer come with a light ? mine doesnt light up and i havent looked for terminal hookups in the back so , i was curious....... reason i ask is because i am installing all new gauges except that one and i kinda want that one to be lighted too . any ideas ? "

jeff that gauge should have lighting now whether is has been connected is another thing. If you are installing new gauges why not relace the tacho too?
