Yamaha 199596 200 slatwater seriesII Stalling at idle

My engine started stalling at

My engine started stalling at idle just yesterday and then I had problems satring it.

I went back today and tried a few things:
I changed the fuel water separator filter..
I added some fuel additive to remove water from fuel....
I changed the spark plugs and regapped them...
I cleaned the carbs with carb cleaner...

After doing all this the engine started running better at idle but if I tyr to open her up in neutral the carbs sound as ifthey were burbling and then it sound like a miss fire and engine stalls... Anyone know what the hell could be wrong.

It could be floodin

It could be flooding, or there could be a clogged idle jet. If a carb is flooding, you should see fuel coming out the vent or up through the main jet when you squeeze the primer ball. You would have to remove the cover from the front of the carbs to see this.

Did you remove the carbs and open them up when you cleaned them?
