Carb fuel intake hole stripped

The flow-thru bolt hole is stripped in the carb bowl cover and is leaking bad. Can anyone tell me how to fix this or do I have to find a new cover?

Usually the best fix for a stripped hole is to go to the next higher size. I've had a lot of luck using the existing stripped hole as astarting hole for the next higher size tap. If you are not familiar with tapping the first thing to know is be patient and take your time. Don't use a dull tap. Get the tap going in as straight as you can. Back off 1/4 turn for every 1/2 turn. this will help keep the tap from getting stuck and breaking. If you feel resistance building back all the way out and start again. Use tapping fluid or some oil.
