Propellor pitch amp diameter

I have an 18' cobble .To

I have an 18' cobble .To which i am fitting a 3 cyl lister diesel engine. how do i work out the propellor pitch & diameter to give optimum results.....can anyone suggest a suitable reduction box to use with this setup.......?
