" I'm having trouble removing the steering tube from my outboard. The steering cable is hopelessly frozen, so I've decided to remove / replace the tube as well. I'm having trouble exposing the recessed bolts that hold the tube in, should I apply heat, bang away or is there another way. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated. "
