Dear sir
i am a research scholar from india. I am working on piston groove land for large two stroke engine.I want some info regarding the effect of the combustion gas forces contributing to the wear down of grooves and the effect of piston ring slapping on the groove .I will be cladding the groove with a suitable alloy by plasma process followed by laser hardening.
