I bought an old Johnson(very nice Shape) but I need the oil to gas mix any help would be apreciated

"Mark, although OMC has stated in the past that all of their engines may use the new 50/1 oil mixture, I would strongly suggest that you use the original fuel/oil mixture recommended for that engine which was/is 25/1 (1qt of 50/1 oil to 6gal gas). A fuel rating of 87 octane is suitable.

The 25/1 ratio is recommended due to the fact that the engines bearings are not needle or roller bearing equipped through out. Some bearings are what might be referred to as babbit bearings (bronze to steel etc).
