"trying to figure out wher ethe B&G (or powerview) cables connect to the GM 8.1 engine. Crusader told me the info comes from the datalink 10 pin connector but refuses to give me the pin outs. Without those, I cannot determine which pin is for J1850 (B&G one wire) or CAN out(Two wires CAN-H CAN-L)."

I can't quite make out what appears to be the words CAN on the right and left side. Are there CAN-H and CAN-L pins in the DLC connector?

Cam Drawing"">

Dale, My drawings show a CAM H and CAM L in the data link harness. This is the four wire harness which connects the motors in a dual engine application. It will be at the back of the engine down near the transmission."

The Black wire "D" is CAN high and the Red wire "C" is CAN low. Just in case you can't read them.

"Rick, last question - sorry to be a pest - is the YEL wire (PIN B) above saying GRND?"

That wire is the master/slave

That wire is the master/slave wire. It connects to the ECM J1 terminal 3. The engine sync harness that connects the two engines has a grounding terminal on one end. The end you ground determines which motor is master and which is slave. You can not ground this terminal on a single installation.
