Johnson 150 carb hoses

" I recently got a 150 v6 late

" I recently got a 150 v6 late 80s. The carbs were rebuilt but off the head and when I was putting them on I found 3 small hose nipples on the top of each carb,are these supposed to be linked by hose? the only corresponding nipples are 2 on the head under the carbs? what are these for? there is no reference to them in my manual. Many Thanks. "

" Bren;The small hoses on top of the carbs are the choke/primer hoses leading from the primer solenoid to those nipples.The top primer line goes directly to p/solenoid,bottom 2 are 'T'ed before going to p/solenoid.A REAL Johnson service manual has hose routing map located at the end of fuel system section.Zeke "
