"hello all, I am wondering which of these props is best on an OMC sterndrive 165 hp 4.3L...
1. 14" dia x 14" pitch
2. 14" dia x 18" pitch
3. 14" dia x 20" pitch

I have these three and am wondering which is the ideal one to use... thanks for the info, help is much appreciated....

"I use this for mainly fishing, it is a 19' MFG, I can go about 27 MPH at around 5500 rmp's with the 14 x 14 on, just thinking it should go faster at a lower rpm.... thanks for the help, and maybe explain the whole prop lingo about higher pitches do this and lower pitches do that... not sure.."

The one that puts You in the max rpm range of 4200-4600 would be the 'correct' one. Most probably the 14 x 18.
