"All things being equal, I noticed a +1 1/2 mile per gallon increase in fuel milage after changing to Mobil 1 in my hemi ram truck. Could some increase be expected on my lm318 marine engine. It has about 200 hours on it now. Any down sides?"

"Your truck experience is grossly inaccurate. Any advantage would be measued in fractions of a 1%. Wear factors, where oil is changed regularly, are also virtually unnoticable."
