"I have a 2001 Volvo 5.0GL and I am trying to replace the impeller. I have removed the three small bolts from the pump housing and I removed the hoses from the pump also. My problem is I cannot get the pump housing to come off. I have tapped it some, tried to twist it off too. I have never done this on this engine before. Is there a trick to removing the pump?
