AQ130D Valve stem oil seals

When I removed the

When I removed the inlet and exhaust valves, there were no valve stem oil seals fitted.
There are four seals in the new gasket set which I assume are for the inlet valves.
Is this correct?

"I have seen advertised gasket kits for the b20s containing 8 stem seals, so I guess that depending on the application the seals are either installed in both intake and exhaust valves, in none, or in either intake or exhaust. If I had to install the ones you have in your set and I had to make a choice, I would probably install them on the intake side so that no oil is sucked into the intake manifold due to worn valve guides.

But if you had no seals installed and you had not experienced any problems, then why worry? "
