"I have a 1998 7.4 MPI that after starting the warning buzzer goes off with in 30 seconds. Leg oil level, water temp, oil pressure all look good. I have disconected the wires from leg oil, water temp, oil pressure and knock sensor but it still goes off. Could it be the elec fuel pump or something else ?"

"Are you sure you are disconnecting the right sensor wires? EFI motors have one for the gauge and one for the ECU. The knock sensor will not set off the alarm, but the others will. It could also be a buzzer starting to fail, they are very sensative and often give false signals prior to failing.

If this motor is capable, run a self test to see if any DTCs are stored.

"Check your drive unit fill-tank level. On some boats, they're real sensative. Have you put a mechanical gauge on it to verify the oil pressure?"
