Any ideas out there about the

Any ideas out there about the brass plug used for engine block drains. I currently have a 1/4 NPT brass plug in each side of the engine to drain the block while winterizing the engine. Mechanic is a little concerned that the threads into the engine block look a little worn. Any thoughts about taping out for a slightly larger plug.
