Hoping you could assist, we have two Yamaha outboards, on the outside they seem to appear the same however on closer inspection they seem to differ, i had e-mailed Andrew Mencart with same issue and he reckoned i should post under relevant discussion board.
The engine identification plates are as follows:
First engine:
Yamaha L 250 AEA (the second A in AEA could be something different as the plate is damaged)
61B UL 750349
Y
Second engine:
Yamaha 250 TXRP
61A UL 701314
C
Could you guys please take a look at this and see if you can assist, the USA is my last resort, I purchased this boat in Dubai, however communicating with them is similar to pulling teeth, same goes with the United Kingdom and South Africa, could you guys shed some light on these engines or give us an alternative source to try and find some workshop manuals.
