OWENS Counter Rotation Engine

My 1968 33 ft OWENS has the counter rotation engine on port side instead of normal starboard side. Is this correct for OWENS or has someone screwed-up previously and reversed engines and props.

"Its is most likely the way it came, and they reverse rotation with the props. THat may have just been their thinking in 1968, I have seen alot of strange stuff."

Thanks for your replys. Sounds like I'm going to have to find a similar OWENS.
