" I plan to repaint the engine cover of my 75Hp Johnson (recent purchase). It looks like it must have flown off and bounced along the road. So I thought I would fill and reshape the bad areas with Auto Bondo type repair material, and then sand, prine and paint the whole top with the Warm White and French Silver paint.
At first I thought I would remove the Johnson signs, and anything else I could, but I am now leaning toward just taping them all off. So my question is, do these emblems snap in and out, or am I better off not risking breaking them all up? "
